Transforming Post-Merger Complexity Into a Scalable Global ERP Foundation

 

Recently, a global preclinical CRO came to us after a period of intense expansion. Multiple acquisitions had left them with disconnected tools, inconsistent processes, and limited visibility into key financial and operational data.

 

They weren’t looking for a vendor—they needed a partner who could guide them through a full ERP transformation and bring order to an increasingly fragmented environment.

 

We began by conducting a thorough discovery effort across all regions. This included detailed conversations with business unit leaders, a full review of current systems, and an assessment of their IT, CRM, and HRIS landscape. We also evaluated a custom-built order management application that would need to integrate seamlessly into the future-state architecture.

 

With clarity established, our team utilized the SDLC model to lead system design, configuration, CRM integration, data migration, training, and a phased rollout.

The outcomes were significant. U.S. operations successfully transitioned onto NetSuite, resulting in faster processes, improved financial visibility, and more reliable reporting. In Europe, CREO built a stable integration pathway that supported the client’s existing accounting model while setting the stage for future consolidation.

What emerged was a stronger, more connected operational foundation—one capable of supporting ongoing growth, improving transparency across regions, and giving leadership the clarity needed to make confident decisions.
